Wilkes Literacy Gingerbread Festival Sponsor
Wilkes Literacy’s staff and Board of Directors have planned the return of an event that brings joy and holiday cheer to our community. Wilkes Literacy is pleased to announce the fifth Gingerbread House Festival that will take place on Friday and Saturday, December 6-7, 2024. During these two days, The 1915 Event Venue in downtown Wilkesboro will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland with gingerbread houses from participants across Wilkes County. If you are interested in knowing more about the event, please visit www.wilkesliteracy.org/gingerbread for details. Excitement is already building in our community about this event. The 2023 event drew over 1500 visitors, and we are hopeful for higher attendance in 2024. The 2024 Wilkes Literacy Gingerbread House Festival will feature a table of gingerbread houses from our program participants that tell their stories. Wilkes Literacy’s team believes that literacy changes lives, and we are excited to share these success stories with our community.
Wilkes Literacy makes the Gingerbread House Festival free for all families who attend. In order to provide this holiday celebration to our community, we need your help as an event sponsor. Please view the attached information about sponsorship opportunities and how you can help us bring this festival to life. We have suggested sponsorship levels, but any contribution you can give is appreciated. Wilkes Literacy is a nonprofit agency, and all donations are tax deductible. In addition, Wilkes Literacy’s staff and Board of Directors want you to know that we are committed to using any contributions to our agency with wisdom and transparency.
